The Regional Partnership grant program has now closed and no new applications will accepted by the Department of
Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government.

The administration of the Rural Medical Infrastructure Fund (RMIF) will now reside within the Australian Department of
Health and Ageing portfolio.

For further information about the Government's proposed Regional and Local Community Infrastructure program and
other funding program please visit the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development & Local
Government website www.infrastructure.gov.au or the ACC website www.acc.gov.au . These websites will have updates
on the new funding programs and Regional Development Australia.

The Riverina ACC is participating in the consultative process with the Government, other ACCs and the community, in
helping to shape the future role of what will become RDA local committees and future funding programs.

The Riverina ACC (RDA-Riverina) is available to assist organisations in reviewing their funding strategies and identify
possible alternate funding sources. The Riverina ACC has developed two grant writing resources for organisation

Tips on Writing a Grant Application – This is a comprehensive booklet that looks at how to develop your project idea,
plan and budget and also helps you develop your responses to questions on rational, sustainability and outcomes. This
booklet also lists questions you can ask the grant provider when trying to evaluate your eligibility, provides effective writing
hints and a glossary of grant terminology.

Quick Reference to Project Funding – This is a shorter version of the above booklet but gives you a good quick checklist
for when you are writing a grant application.
